Here is blink 182 making a video with David LaChapelle in 2003. I thought it would be interesting to look how the band themselves have gone about the process of making the video. Here they talk about the concept and ideas behind the shoot. This video contains a lot of energy that I would like to bring in to my own work.

Video Tutorial for music video
I looked at this tutorial because it gave a small insight in to how to construct a good music video. From this I was able to learn how you should film each individual band member on there own, and then film the whole band, this way you end up with a lot of stock footage to work from.
Action shots

I watched this video which focuses on how to create a fight scene for a film. Although I am not having a massive fight sequence, I felt it would help if I researched how to create a fight sequence. This is because in my video, the girl loses her temper with her boyfriend at a party, and I want her to be violent to a certain extent because at that point in time she gains all of the power in the sequence, and leaves the boyfriend lower in power, for most of the video. Also because this is a music video and not a film, I have to show her getting angry without dialogue, so I want to emphasise her anger in her actions.
From this I picked up that a shaky camera will unease the audience, therefore emphasising the unease of the shot. I also learnt how to de construct someone being thrown on the floor in to separate shots to create a realistic effect. Finally the video explained how to get the right camera angle to might pushes and punches look genuine, rather than fake.
