Mood in stage performance

A large part of my video will consist of the stage performance of the band playing. I decided to use the stage at my school because of availability and I will have use of a lighting rig. 

The lighting is very important. I will have a lighting rig set up by the side of the stage performance to create more intense light and shadow. 

I will also have lighting in front of the stage that will change colour, and will do this at different speeds. The verses and chorus are more mellow, and sad, therefore I would like to use more blue lighting. However the riff of the song and the introduction are a lot more angry, and therefore I will use red, harsh lighting.

Many shows end with confetti flying around the audience and stage, so I like the idea of having red, or white confetti being blown on to the stage at the very end of the song to add more energy to the crescendo of the song.

I also wish to have smoke on the stage, this will catch the lights, and add more atmosphere to the shots.
